Group counselling gives us a unique opportunity to explore the ways we relate to one another. Groups can evoke experiences that mirror relationship dynamics outside of group, and so, offer insight into one's interpersonal style and provide opportuntities to practice new behaviours. Group therapy is a dynamic treatment modality that facilitates personal learning and decreases isolation and shame. Groups provide the opportunity of many perspectives and a peer support environment.

2. Ongoing Psychotherapy Group.
This group is an ongoing psychotherapy group where members join for a
minimum of 4 months. People join the group as space comes up and are
welcome to enquire at any time. The groups' purpose is to create
community which supports self-exploration, healthy development and
authentic contact.
Rather than having a fixed agenda, each session focuses on the issues most salient to group members on the day. Some typical
issues that people deal with in group are relationships, shame and
self-expression, grief and loss, isolation and depression, family
dynamics and trauma recovery.
An ongoing group offers the opprtunity for in depth exploration into
interpersonal dynamcs, and receive honest feedback from group members.
It provides people with support through difficult times and a sense of
connection, as well as dealing with different perspectives and working
to resolve conflict.
The group will meet for 40 weeks of the year with 2 weeks off at Christmas and Easter and 8 weeks off during the summer period.
